Aidan's 3rd Birthday!

I cannot believe that Aidan is 3 years old. Time is moving so fast! We had a great time at his birthday party. It was at Angela and Adrian's house. Aidan got tons of toys and lots of cake and candy. He was in 7th heaven.Amara and Adria are having fun playing with Aidan's new toys.

This has been a busy month. I got to 2 tea party protests, very cool. Adria went to one of them with me. What an education for her. Lots of questions and hopefully lessons learned. Aidan got a year older. Amara performed in a class musical. Easter kept us all busy. Jonah got his ear tubes surgery done. I also got a great visit in with my mom in California. What more can you ask? Had another bunco party at Jim's boss' house. I won a $50. movie card. April was definitely full. May is looking to be just as busy. Whew!

Easter 2009

Well another Easter has come and gone. We stayed home this Easter. Almost everyone came for our egg hunt and dinner so it was quite a crowd. Our inlaws, the Holdridges came and all my kids minus 3, (you know who you are). I hope everyone had a good time. I know Jim and I did. I have posted lots of pictures. Vonda and Amara hunting eggs.

This was actually Good Friday. The kids got to spend the night. Aren't they adorable! Well, that's all for this Easter. I hope everyone had a great day and remembered the one who made it all possible.

March, 2009

It has been another busy month. Aidan has gotten his first haircut at a salon. Doesn't he look so old.

Amara and Aidan like the same toys and play so nicely together for about 5 minutes then......

This is a great day. I love my boys.

Well this month Leanna and Caleb moved out. They got a really nice apartment about 4 miles away with Mike. So far so good. They seem to really like it. I miss them. I miss having a baby to snuggle with any time I want. This is Caleb helping mommy pack. Vonda will be getting her place this weekend and Jim and I will be alone for the first time in many, many years. It will be so wierd. I'm throwing myself into decorating. Bought a new couch and everything. Wish my sister would come and help. I'll take pictures when I'm done. Wish me luck.

FEBRUARY 2009

Well Jonah turned 18 months. I can't believe how fast time is passing. He is such a little man. He keeps his mommy and daddy running all day. This kid never stops. He is so funny and his laugh is contagious. We were shopping the other day and he had everyone in the store cracking up. I love this shirt and sweater set. He looks good in green.Aidan is so cute in his little ricky jammies.

Angela and her grandaughter Serena had a fun day at the lake. They rented a boat and Adrian, Aidan, Serena, and Angela spent the day out in the Arizona sun. Keep in mind this is February.

While they were at the lake Jim and I took the girls for an adventure to New Mexico. We had so much fun and Jim got to spend some time in the mountains he loves so much.

There was still some snow here and there in New Mexico. This is a valcano we hiked to the top of. It's the same one we took Angela, Josiah, Shawna, And Justin to when they were little. This time there was no freak blizzard and we actually got to see it instead of just trying to survive it.

This is on the Arizona side. Alot more snow. Adria and Amara were in heaven.

We also went to the Petrified Forest. I have been there many times but never saw so much wood. It was all over the place and just beautiful. We hiked all over this area. Adria was very in touch with God here and kept taking us further saying God wanted to show us something. And boy did He!

It was just beautiful!!!!!

Then the Painted Desert. This is Adria and Amara making a picture frame.

Adria and Amara loved the wolf preserve. This place was pretty cool and Adria got to howl with the wolves. She was in her element.

We also went to an ice cave. The ice in the cave is 20 feet deep year round. Considering it is right at the opening it is pretty incredible.

We stopped at the Salt River for some hiking time. This was Amara's favorite place of the trip. She was so brave jumping from rock to rock. Adria and I sat and enjoyed the view. We crammed alot into 2 days. It was a great break.
