Fall is here!

Fall is finally here and so is the fun. I'm ready! This summer has been long and hot. It's still hot but not unbearable. It is cool in the mornings and evenings. The kids can play outside and everyone is trying to get their costumes ready. Caleb is modeling for me now. He earned his first dollar. Grabbed it right out of my hands when I was trying to pay Adria for her modeling costumes. He wouldn't let go even with a tug of war. Adria finally said he wanted paid too. He is a little capitalist.Kids are going outside to play a lot and the weather is so nice. The climbing tree is getting lots of use. It's also a nice place to hide from your little brother.

Leaves are just starting to fall. Adria and Amara spend hours up there.

With fall comes the County Fair. We took the grandkids to the fair and they had a lot of fun. This is a picture of 4 of them. The 5th one is not ours. The kids had so much fun with this monkey. (Jonah couldn't go with us so we had to improvise).
It was Angela's 30th birthday so after the fair we all went out for dinner. We sure fill up a table when we get together.

Lemonade and cookies anyone?

Today is Sunday and Adria and Grandpa decided to learn how to earn their own money. They repaired and set up a lemonade stand and set up their signs while Amara and I made cookies and lemonade for them to sell. She is having a blast out there now and I am going to clean up my kitchen. Life is good.

A DAY AT THE FAIR

I wasn't there but look at the fun!! Angela, Aidan, and my favorite son in law had a great day! Or so say the birds.

Cousins bond.

Jonah and Caleb had a chance to visit. Now actually Jonah loves Caleb and won't leave him alone. He loves to kiss him and bounce him in his bouncer. Caleb loves Jonah and smiles big whenever he sees him. But these pictures show a different story. Jonah actually didn't like the camera watching.Hold me back!
Right cross!
Sorry.
Does anyone have cuter grandkids than I do? I don't think so.

Grandkids are the best!

Little Caleb Everett just keeps getting bigger! Aunt Stephanie gave him a bumbo seat and he thinks he's a little hot shot to be able to sit up all by himself. He is 3 months now and is starting to be a little easier to babysit. He will actually take a bottle now. Whew!Jim and I took the kids to the ostrich farm last Sunday and we had so much fun. Aidan loved the birds and the volcano. Adria and Amara loved the birds and the deer. The ostriches were kind of scary. Jonah liked the birds on his head but he didn't want them on his arm or shoulder.
This is me teaching the flat hand technique.
Grandpa had a great idea of putting feed in Jonah's lap and backing up to take pictures of Jonah with the deer. Grandma saved him. He'll probably have nightmares.

Aidan was the bravest 2 year old with the birds the lady had ever seen. He loved them.
We all went for ice cream after and we were only a little late getting Jonah to his Mom and Dad so he could visit his other Grandma and Grandpa. (Sorry)
