FAMILY REUNION

Well, what a day! This year it was Angela and Shawna who put together the family reunion. They did a great job. Shawna organized the food and Angela organized the games. I have alot of great pictures thanks to my favorite son in law who has a natural talent and needs to share it. (do it for a paid hobby) He is AWESOME!!!! Thanks Adrian! Here are a few of my favorite of my kids and grandkids. It was hard to pick.

The best part of picknics are the cookies.
Pick your pole.
Angela making sure nobody falls into the lake.
Grandpa spent the day fixing kid's poles.
Aidan showing off the big one.

Angela trying to see if Jonah ever gets full. This went on all day!

Grandma teaching kids how to pop caps on a rock. Amara was quite good at it.
Josiah and Jonah having a father and son moment. Incredible.
Now for a son and father moment.
Amara saving the worms for pets. Grandpa let her keep two.
Aidan and Jonah having a quiet time on the blanket.
Two cousins that had a great day. Thanks Angela and Shawna.
I add the following although we didn't take pictures. Sunday we took Adria, Amara, and Aidan to Sea World and had a great day. One highlight was Aidan and 2 Baluga whales trying to breed. Luckily I didn't have to explain because they were not successful while we were viewing (very shortly when we realized what was happening) Adria explained to Aidan before a laughing crowd how you can tell boy whales from girls because boys have tally whackers and girls don't. I was glad to not have them asking me any questions. That's a trip for mom and dad. After a fun day of exploring God's wonderful creatures we went to the beach for calzones at our favorite seaside restaurant. Then we went down to the water and the kids had a great time wading in the water and yelling and running. Adria buried her feet in the sand and started dancing and singing to the lord making up her own songs. She was all by herself and I left her alone. She sang for a good half hour. I moved up the beach with Aidan who decided he was the boss of the waves. He stood at the shore and said, "Oh no, here comes big one!" Then he would throw out both hands and yell, "STOP" When it didn't he would run from the wave and laugh. Then he would start all over. Amara kept throwing wet sand and playing in the surf and writing in the sand. I love the beach at night. We ended the night singing and dancing up the beach all of us singing our own songs. Adria said, "Grandma, you can dance! You look like a teenager." I felt like one too. I write this so I don't forget one of the best days of my life. I wish Adrian had been there for pictures.

Okay that picture with Jonah and Aiden on the blanket looks like they are playing together, so cute. And then the one under it where they are sleeping is also so cute, they look like they are sleeping in the exact same position.
